I chat to Riot Jazz, who are veterans for the student event at University of Manchester called Pangaea. The 9 piece live brass band brings vibes from Brooklyn all the way to Manchester. All students in Manchester, the band formed because of their joint love for brass. Since then Riot Jazz has a monthly night at Antwerp Mansion in Manchester, which is always rammed and tickets always sell out quick (they somehow manage to combine Drum n Bass with Brass at those events which is fantastic!) as well as festivals all over the world such as Bestival, Camp Bestival, Glastonbury and Sound Wave just to name a few.
We talk about their rise to success as well as many things summer related due to the theme of the student event, Summer of Love.
