MassMatiks are an alternative/ indie band which I went to see because one of my best friends was (at the time) in a relationship with one of the members from the band, meaning free entry for us. I’m always a fan of listening to new fresh music from upcoming bands and so I happily went along.

MassMatiks are a band created pre entry to a famous music academy in Guildford called ACM, and have now achieved a large name for themselves around the Surrey and London area, even getting a slot on a BBC documentary about the music academy, ACM.

I enjoyed their music as they really gave it all through their performance, making sure the crowd were enjoying themselves as much as they were. Using a whole lot of guitar and drums their sound is loud, lyrics catchy and a melody that you’ll find yourself shaking your head to.
