File on 4: Abandoned in Afghanistan

Working with the award winning BBC Radio 4’s investigative documentary programme, File on 4, has been insightful in not only researching, reporting, and producing journalism that holds organisations, authorities and individuals to account, but also highlights injustices, negligence and corruption, all in a 37 minute programme with creative storytelling and sounds.

I learnt how to put a File on 4 together, working alongside my talented colleague Kate West, assisting her in producing the programme, Abandoned in Afghanistan. A programme dedicated to the thousands of teachers, lawyers, interpreters, security staff and journalists who helped the British in Afghanistan and now fear for their lives in the country, hiding from the Taliban.
