Reporting at Keith Flint’s Funeral

I went to the lead singer of The Prodigy‘s funeral, Keith Flint; in Braintree, to talk to long life fans of his music about the affect their music had on their lives, as well as mental health in the music industry and in wider society, questioning what we need to do to change this. You can hear the devastation and loss in their voices, as well as their love and ardour for the band. It was an emotional day, one filled with sadness and tragedy but also happiness and laughter as everyone remembered the memories they had of the live performances they had seen of them. Being a fan myself, I felt I could connect with those that were there.

My heart goes out to the last lady I interviewed, she really is as nice as she sounds.

This was my introductory piece and then followed by voxpops.
